JUST BOOKIT

A lot of people have asked me how I have been able to take so many trips out of the states. My answer, Just Book it. Literally, Bookit.com. I started booking my own International Vacations back in 2017. I was turning 25, and I was determined to celebrate somewhere warm, and by the water. I had no idea what I was doing, until I stumbled upon Bookit.com. Similar to sites like Expedia and TripAdvisor, Bookit has a list of resorts and flight package deals. However, there are some additional features on Bookit that helped me cut down on having to spend hours surfing the net to find everything I needed. 

In addition to resort and flight bundle packages. Bookit has a few features that keep me coming back. One of my favorite features of  bookit.com is the additional add ons. Once your trip is in the cart, it gives you the option to include car-rentals or round trip shuttle transportation which are pretty inexpensive. Not having to scramble for a cab outside of the airport upon arrival takes a load of pressure off. When my family & I vacationed to Jamaica, Bookit gave the option to select a service that would fast track us through customs. If you know the frustration of customs, you understand why this was an amazing find. For just $50 per person, we were given access to “Club Mobay”. Club Mombay has someone waiting for you once you arrive at the ramp to proceed through the customs line. They escorted us to the Club Mobay VIP line which took about 30 minutes in comparison to the hour + time we were anticipating. Once we were through customs, they escorted us to their VIP lounge where there were finger foods and drinks. The VIP service located our shuttle for us while we indulged in some cocktails. When we finished, they walked us and our bags over to the correct shuttle and we were on our way. Without Bookit’s additional add-on list, we wouldn’t have found Club Mobay. 

My  second favorite feature of the site is their Pay-delay option; a feature I think can be beneficial for many. Similar to booking with a travel agent, you choose your trip and flight for your desired location, and Pay-Delay offers you an option to book your stay on a payment plan. The site reserves your stay at the resort of your choice, and depending on how far in advance you’re booking, your payment plan can be broken into 4-9 payments. On our girls trip to Cancun, Mexico, we were only required to pay a $5 down payment to start our Pay Delay plan ($5 total, not per person). If you like to travel, or want to travel, and paying a lump sum of money at one time doesn’t seem feasible for you, Pay Delay could be a great option. 

Last But not least, Excursions. What’s a good trip without some exploring right? Bookit has an activities tab. You can use this tab to add excursions to your itinerary, or you can book the excursion separately. It’s not required to reserve a stay through bookit to reserve your excursion through the site. The Activities tab, gives an extensive list of available activities wherever you maybe traveling. It also does the price comparing for you. This way you don’t have to jump from site to site price matching. I think this tab is great for people who like to prepare their itenary in advance. It also helps those who aren't sure what they want to do get an idea of what their options are. All of the excursions listed have direct links to the official websites of the actual companies along with contact info. So if you have any questions you can get in contact with them directly. 

Bookit has made trip planning so fun and easy for me. I have been able to book trips within a few hours, and the trips have always turned out absolutely amazing. If you have not booked a trip through the site, I would give it a try. See if it makes trip planning more simple for you.
